The Consortium of Entrepreneurship launched a groundbreaking initiative by organizing an international summit for entrepreneurship educators at the Superior University Campus in Lahore.
The summit aimed to foster a new generation of entrepreneurial educators through comprehensive training programs that encourage action-based teaching methods and the cultivation of a forward-looking mindset integrating pedagogy and entrepreneurship. Dr. Sami Bajwa, Dean of the Faculty of Business & Management Sciences, opened the session discussing the vital mindset of an entrepreneurial educator and outlining a roadmap for aspirants in the field. This was followed by a session by Prof. Dr. Sumaira Rehman, Rector of Superior University, who presented the Superior Entrepreneur- ship Education Model (SEEM), highlighting its integral Entrepreneurial Teaching & Training Program (ETTP) and the transformation it has fostered in entrepreneurial education through various innovative pedagogical tools and strategies. The summit also featured insights from Dr. Shahid Qureshi, Rector of Gift University, who emphasized the crucial role of robust business models and effective pitching in entrepreneurship. Adding to the discourse, Mr. Muneeb Ahmed, Deputy Director of the Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Center for Entrepreneurship Development at Superior University, underscored the pivotal role of networking in entrepreneurship, delineating its multifacet- ed benefits including fostering sustainability in startups. The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony recognizing the participants’ contributions to the field, with a promise of further insights and updates to continue enlightening the higher education fraternity on the dynamism of entrepreneurial teaching strategies. Dr Hummaira Qudsia Yousaf elucidated on the essential role of developing a cohesive and sustainable business model in entrepreneurship, emphasizing that a well-articulated business model can serve as the backbone of a successful entrepreneurial venture
