This time one of his pillar CMACED is doing tireless efforts for Entrepreneurial revolution by supporting Microsoft Imagine CUP and by empowering the startup teams of Superior University to participate in this exclusive competition that promotes our Pakistani youth globally. Imagine Cup is Microsoft’s annual global competition. It seeks to empower the next generation of computer sciences/IT experts and professionals to innovate and create applications that shape how we live, work and play. Every year tens of thousands of students from across the globe compete for the honour of winning the coveted Imagine Cup. During last decade, more than 1.65 million students from more than 190 countries have participated in the Imagine Cup.

This time one of his pillar CMACED is doing tireless efforts for Entrepreneurial revolution by supporting Microsoft Imagine CUP Initiative to boost economic development of Pakistan. Every year startup teams of Superior University participate in Imagine Cup Competition on the behalf of CMACED. And luckily this year our teams reserved 2 positions one as regional winner and one of 1st runner-up. Our Regional Winner from Center Region is Motovest, this is a startup of two students from Superior University who are Mr. Zeeshan Shahid and Ms. Iqra Amjad and they won prize money of Rs. 50,000. Our 1st Runner-Up from Center Region is Elixs, this is a startup of 3 students from Superior University who are Mr. Dawood Ahmed, Ms. Mavra Mehmood & Mr. Junaid. They won the prize money of Rs. 30,000.
HEC and Microsoft Strategic Partnership helps the students by providing access to fully licensed free-of-cost software tools necessary to develop their ideas into a product. They help them by providing access to industry experts and leaders to provide mentorship. They give access to students to the Azure Cloud Computing Platform- to help students run their simulations and training algorithms in the cloud. They also give access to Microsoft Teams and Office 365 to help them with their hybrid learning journey.
Pakistan has been one of the top participating countries in the recent years both in participation as well as project quality in the Imagine Cup. We were Global Semi Finalist in 2018, Top participating country in MEA Country Cluster in 2018, 2020 & 2021. We were the highest participating country in the world in 2020, 100+ universities submitted their projects with more than 200K projects and Unique competitors. We also became one of the very few countries with a Regional & National level competition.
